Hi, I am Ross, a professional female photographer based in Sutton and Croydon Surrey, at the border between London and Surrey.
The photography bug has always been in the family. One of my brothers has been a successful professional commercial photographer and videographer for over 25 years. You could say that I was championing for the girls! But, no, seriously, my interest in photography grew out by the sheer need to find an expression for my creativity. Out of love for colours, shapes, light, patterns and art!
Buying a professional camera for my first ever photography course was thrilling. Since then, I have invested in training and learning and continue to do so to this day. I have been taught by and continue training with leading photographers (Barrett & Coe, Mark Cleghorn), who are truly inspirational and their passion for photography is infectious. My background is very different – I spent many years working in the financial services, in posts that were not only stressful but also needed attention to detail, thinking ‘on your feet’. The creative bug was kept under wrap for many years for the sake of a corporate career and raising a family.
Now, I love my work. Photographing families, kids and pets is such fun, undertaking a commercial project or creative headshots that make a mark is what I love to do. Creating memorable images for people that can be treasured for many years to come. When clients choose me as their photographer, I think of it as a privilege and an opportunity to create something beautiful, quality photos and give them an unforgettable photographic experience.
I love to challenge myself and my artistic nature and I am always looking to bring something unique to the photography for clients, in particular for commercial photography. Every experience whether it be a studio portrait or wedding or commercial, tells your story, and I strive to portray the best in people (and pets!), so my first task is to put you at ease and ensure that you have fun and enjoy yourself.

Would that be possible nowadays, in the digital age, when we all store images, videos and photos on the computer, mobile phones?
